Application	Flumetsulam can be used as an efficient and selective herbicide. It is mainly used for post-emergence weed control in soybean fields, particularly effective against broadleaf weeds. Its mechanism of action is by leaf absorption, disrupting photosynthesis.

Application:

The agent also exhibits good activity in the soil. For soybeans that are in the 1-3 true leaf stage and weeds at the 2-5 leaf stage, a 25% aqueous solution of 9-20mL/100m2 should be sprayed on the weed stems and leaves. At this dosage, applying the herbicide pre-emergence is better than pre-sowing; however, it does have some phytotoxic effects on soybeans, though they recover quickly. Applying the herbicide post-emergence but pre-weed emergence minimizes phytotoxicity to the soybeans.
